Recently had a reconditioned gearbox fitted by A1 clutches in tipton the staff were so helpful , very friendly and not to mention the service that was given to me it was second to none I took my car 1st thing in the morning they kindly gave me a courtesy car which helped me out so much but to top this off the price was half of what I had been quoted as other garages were double the price cant thank A1 enough 🙂 fantastic, well done will always recommend you :)x
After being told my gearbox was faulty, and the price my usual mot and service centre quoted, I was thinking of getting rid.
Was then told about A1 by a work colleague, of how cheap and quick they are. So i gave them a ring and was told straight away how much a gearbox and fitting was, dropped my car off and ending up needing a new clutch and slave cylinder as well as gearbox, and the price for all the work including ‘vat’ and 12 months warranty was still less than half the price my normal garage would charge just for an gearbox.
Well happy, and would definitely recommend giving A1 a try before anywhere else.

Great experience and service provides by Steve and his staff over the past few days. My car had broken down and it was taken to A1 Clutches to replace the clutch. I was notified that the gearbox was also not working properly and it would be advisable to get this fixed soon. Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)
The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready. The car drives like new and my worries are gone.What more can I say ? !!

I got changed clutch and flywheel of my Audi A3 from A1 clutches Tipton. I would recommend them to all. They are the best. They gave me same day appointment and changed clutch and flywheel in 4 hours. They provided me courtesy car as well. Simran gave me best customer service.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Staff were courteous , honest and polite at all times. I was sent a video detailing the works and quoted a very reasonable price. I have collected the vehicle and driven and it’s like driving a new car! If I could give more stars I would absolutely brilliant would recommend 100 percent to any customers with vehicle issues.

Toyota aygo semi automatic .. clutch replacement….
