Excellent Service

I broke down on Sunday evening and got dropped off outside A1 Clutches by the AA (who recommended them). I had to leave my car on the road as it was late at night so they were closed, so I dropped my car key through the letterbox with my contact number. I was contacted first thing on Monday morning – they had my key and had already located my car and done a quick check of it to see what was wrong. Very professional and helpful throughout the call.

Not only did they replace my clutch, but they also sorted out a fault with my gearbox. When they called me to tell me the price, I explained that my MOT was due shortly. They offered to do this for me as well so that I didn’t have to take it to another garage. They even went across the road to the tyre place and fitted me with a new tyre (which I’d been meaning to do). And to top it all off, my car was ready by Tuesday afternoon (a day and a half after I left it there).

Definitely went out of their way for me, top quality service and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

After searching the net and reading vast amounts of reviews I decided to use A1clutches
to replace my gearbox and fit a new clutch at the same time.
All the staff were very helpful and the first time I drove my car again it felt like a new one
the gearbox was nice and smooth and the clutch felt the same the clutch has 24 months warranty and the gearbox has 12 months warranty.
All in all a great job and would recommend them with no hesitation.

Big thank you to Mark who within a day of contacting, managed to fit in my car for new clutch and dual mass flywheel. Apart from being the most competitive quote I found, Mark came across as a really helpful genuine bloke too, who won’t make any promises he cannot keep.
