The judges praised our highly skilled technicians and our customer service standards which are reflected by personal customer reviews on the independent review site, Trust Pilot, where our business is consistently rated 5 stars for excellent service.

A1 Clutches were voted the UK Clutch Specialist of 2017 at last nights WCFMC Awards ceremony which was sponsored by Valeo and held at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Birmingham. Managing Director Amrik Singh said “this award is a reflection on all the hard work all our branches put in each and every day to ensure our customers experience exceptional customer service from A1 Clutches.

All 4 of our branches have passed all the rigorous criteria required re quality and service to join this specialist group of clutch fitters. A1 Clutches CEO Amrik Singh and close friend Anthony Joshua, MBE the current IBF heavyweight world champion in the Mercedes garage admiring the winners constructors trophy won at the Silverstone F1 Grand Prix by Lewis Hamilton on Sunday 10th July. Both keen F1 fans saw a great race won by Lewis in testing conditions which leaves him one point behind team mate Nico Rosberg in the years F1 drivers championship.

A1 Clutches, the specialist clutch, gearbox, servicing and vehicle diagnostics centres are celebrating their 25th Anniversary. This is an exciting event for our company which was established in 1990 by Amrik Singh, who was then only 18 years old.

25 years on and A1 Clutches are the leading clutch specialists in the Midlands and operate from 4 state of the art centres, all equipped to the highest standard with the latest technology, at Birmingham City Centre, Cannock, Derby and Tipton. Whatever type of vehicle you own, they will be able to help, and specialise in high performance, 4X4, light commercial vehicles and even motor homes.

A real success story, Mr Singh explains that having been brought up in his parent’s business, he had an understanding of what it takes to run a successful concern from an early age.
He took his parents as his example and followed their advice to commit 110% effort all day every day.

Our first clutch centre was based on the Eclipse Industrial Estate, Tipton and from those humble beginnings and with a lot of hard work the business has expanded to its current four branches with plans to expand even further in the Midlands, Watford and London.

A1 Clutches were delighted to receive the Automotive Vehicle Employer of the Year Award 2014 at the Sandwell College Central Training Apprentice Awards Evening 2015 held at Friday, 30 January 2015 at Central Sixth – formerly known as The Public in West Bromwich
Sandwell College Principal Graham Pennington said the awards marked a celebration of the apprentices’ success.
He said: “I would also like to pay tribute to the employers as without them, our apprentices would not have been given these opportunities.”
A1 Clutches Managing Director Amrik Singh said A1 Clutches are always looking to help local students learn new skills and offer several apprenticeship schemes the company are delighted to work with Sandwell College students helping them gain nationally recognised qualifications, real life experience, excellent career prospects.
