Good service, especially from gee 🙂 Well done team Cannock!

I would like to thank Tony and the team at Derby, who recently fitted a new clutch to my van. It was refreshing to find a company which provides a quality customer care and an excellent service.

It’s not often I’d take the time to review but in this instance I just had to…… Had trouble with my hydrolic clutch for a few months and kept having to bleed it thanx to another gararge “fixing” the problem with a new master cylinder at £124 only to find it was actually the slave cylinder… Which happens to be in the gearbox……. I decided while it’s open to get the clutch done too, and my discs, brakes and a full service…. In steps A1 Clutches……. Brilliant service…. Every single job completed in less than a day and the car drives mint…. Im sooooooo happy, a nice little run round FOR FREE while my cars done… Darren couldn’t have been more helpful…… Excellent communication, all the staff who worked on car were very friendly, staff on counter were very friendly and without doubt, if I ever need work doing again I would use these guys first and recommend them to anyone unlucky enough to have broken clutch, or brakes or shocks or simply need a service…… My car feels good as new….. Thank you so much guys, you are an awsome, rare, gem of a garage

I had a problem with a slipping clutch on my Insignia and after getting numerous quotes booked the job in with A1 in Birmingham. Dropped the car off and was given a courtesy car for use while mine was being done – which was a real help. Even though I was told that it also needed a new dual mass flywheel (that hurt) they still got the job done in the time scale advised.

Best of all though was the after sales support I received from A1. A couple of days after the clutch was fitted I had a complete lack of power and just assumed it was something they had done when fitting the new clutch. However, after they had inspected the car I was advised it had gone in to ‘limp mode’ to protect it from a completely different problem. A1 reset the diagnostics and told me how to resolve my problem with the DPF (diesel particulate filter)

Once again thanks to Steve and Darren for your help – I would highly recommend this garage if you have the misfortune of needing a new clutch. Shame they cant fix my boot release switch – have to do that one myself.
