The clutch on my wife’s Citroen Picasso 1.6hdi had been slipping for sometime and eventually got to a point where it needed sorting
I was aware of A1 Clutches from people I know at work who had recommended their services and excellent prices. I filled out the online quotation during an afternoon and received a call back early the following morning quoting £245 all in.
I was aware that of the issues with the DMF on these cars and was advised if the car was still driving it may be ok.
Booked the car in for the following morning and dropped off @ 9:00am I received a call around 2 hours later to advise that the Clutch arm and DMF were worn as much as the clutch which would take the price up to £595 with all parts included.. I agreed for them to carry on with the work as the price was still excellent considering the costs of the DMF alone.
Collected the car @ 3:00pm the same day and its so much better. Also includes a 2 year warranty on the parts so overall very happy with the service and excellent prices from A1 Clutches. I would definitely recommend this company to others, particularly if your car has a DMF which is common on modern diesels
