I noticed a leak of brake fluid from the bottom of my Corsa d clutch bellhousing
late on a Thursday evening, The clutch had juddered a bit that morning.
I phoned A1 at 8:10 am on Friday morning, They said bring it over and we will
check it out, I got there at 9:50am. A leaking clutch slave cylinder was confirmed,
and a price quoted to replace the cylinder and the complete clutch assembly,
(due to contamination from the leaking fluid). I accepted the quote which I thought
was very good, I had a text at 1.00pm to say my car was ready for collection!
Stunning I thought, a really good job done – much better pedal action than when
the car was new, plus they also topped my gearbox oil up, and car was really clean
no mess all over it which some places seem to do.
A really great team, really good people, don’t even think about going to a main
dealer.

Broke down at around 6:00pm and had the car towed to the shop around 8:00pm in the evening, spoke to a gentleman Steve who kept in contact with me over phone on updates until the whole process was completed, absolute amazing customer service, second to none, the car was completed the next day by 2:00pm next day

I have just had an exchange gearbox & clutch fitted at your Derby branch,,,,,,,Wow!!! What great service!!!!……all done at a great price, including a courtesy car.
I live in Stockport but took my campervan to A1 clutches because of the great name they have,
it is a pity that all other gearbox companies in Manchester are not as professional as A 1 Clutches.!!!!…….well worth the travel time!!!

Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)

The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready.
