New Clutch

My car has had a stiff clutch for a number of years but Toyota dealership service people had told me it was normal. The clutch finally went one Friday night. I needed the car I tried to get in touch with my local Toyota dealership on the Saturday morning but they would not pick up the telephone. In the end I rang A1 in Tipton They said if I took it to their shop by 12.00 it would be fitted with a new main dealer clutch that afternoon. I took it and it was repaired three hours later. The pleasing part was they found out why my clutch had been so stiff, apparently it was a worn lever part of the clutch and it only cost an extra £29.00 to supply and fit the new part. It feels like a band new car. Very pleased!

I recently had car trouble and was convinced that my clutch had gone. I had to leave my car where it was as I had no breakdown cover. I contacted A1 clutches and they were so helpful. They collected my car for a reasonable fee and was there to collect it very promptly meaning I did not have to wait around. I got a call later to say my drive shaft had gone and that it might not be my clutch but they would call me back as soon as they knew. I was sure that I would get a call saying that it was both but to my surprise I got a call to say it was just the drive shaft and that my bill was not going to be as expensive as I first thought. In the past I have not experienced such honesty and have been ripped off easily as I do not have knowledge of car problems. When I went to collect my car the staff were great especially Steve, and all singing while working so this is clearly a good working environment and a happy work force. I will definitely be using this garage in the future if I have car problems and would recommend them to anyone. ( also the toilet was immaculate which is a first for a car garage lol) .

Clutch replaced in a very fast and professional manner, would defo recommend, all the staff I spoke to are very polite and helpful. Van came back very clean and now drives perfect once again. Price was very reasonable

My tired old Peugeot 106 needed a new clutch and within an hour of my initial phone call to the Cannock branch, my car had been collected by a recovery vehicle. Within 24 hours my car was repaired and ready for collection. The price was as quoted and the staff were all friendly and professional. Thanks guys! Would obviously recommend.
