I wanted to share with other users what I believe to be a very rare find. I have a 2003 Rover 75 2.0 CDT Connoisseur which is my pride and joy. On my way home from a family wedding yesterday my clutch went I pulled over to the hard shoulder and did a Google search for clutch repairs Birmingham, several companies came up but only one responded to my call this was A1 Clutches the gentleman on the phone assured me that they could recover my vehicle and fit a new clutch first thing this morning. I did call a couple of other garages first thing this morning for a price and A1 Clutches were by far the cheapest £295 for the clutch and £98 for the slave cylinder. They lent me a courtesy car while my car was being repaired and true to their word they had me back on the road by 1:30 today. My car drives like new and I have a 2 year warranty on the work done today. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to others
Called up on Friday 16th June for a replacement gear box on my van, every where else said 2 days, they had my van in the following morning, replaced the clutch flywheel and gearbox, in about 6 hours top service and excellent communication, they now have all my future business in fact I’ve just booked in to have a worn gear selector replaced and new pads all round!
Good service! Kept well informed and despite having the wrong flywheel sent out, managed to get one the day after and fitted. Will be going back when the brakes need doing!
It was a very stressful day looking for somewhere for your car to have the clutch done and I was looking around for good prices and A1 Clutches was the only one that was very professional and quick, I rang them up on Wednesday and it was booked in for Thursday the work was do by 1:30pm – 2:00pm and they provided a courtesy car until my car was ready for collection

I went to A1 Clutches in Derby after having an emergency late on a Friday afternoon. They were really helpful and looked at the car straight away. They supplied and fitted a clutch kit and CSC. It was done by Monday mid-morning with no fuss and they communicated with me along the way. They apologised for not getting it done Saturday but I thought they were super quick getting it done by Monday. I would highly recommend A1.

Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)
The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready. I got changed clutch and flywheel of my Audi A3 from A1 clutches Tipton. I would recommend them to all. They are the best. They gave me same day appointment and changed clutch and flywheel in 4 hours. They provided me courtesy car as well. Simran gave me best customer service.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Staff were courteous , honest and polite at all times. I was sent a video detailing the works and quoted a very reasonable price. I have collected the vehicle and driven and it’s like driving a new car! If I could give more stars I would absolutely brilliant would recommend 100 percent to any customers with vehicle issues.
