How do I start, well Wednesday 5th of July 2017 I got a phone call off my mom saying she had broken down she was recovered by the AS the clutch had gone. On Thursday 6th I phoned A1 Clutches who gave me a price for the repair work and even arranged collection of the car, as promised Thursday night a recovery driver arrived to collect the car. During the recovery though my mom had an accident and tripped on the kerb smashing her face on the floor, my mom is 76 the recovery driver was good enough to help my mom up and back into the house not leaving her until he knew my daughter had rung me for help so my first thankyou is a massive one to the recovery DRIVER THANKYOU THANKYOU for helping my mom. Secondly I would like to thank all the members if staff at A1 Clutches who took to work straight away on my moms car and had it fixed and ready to be collected on Saturday 8th. A fantastic professional job from start to finish thankyou will definitely use you again and recommend you to friends and family
Noticed a problem with my car , not being sure if it was the clutch going I nipped to a friend who is a mechanic . He advised the clutch could be on its way out and told me to nip to A1 Clutches to get it checked out . Called in on the off chance thinking I would have to wait to get it done . They immediately took it for a test drive and came back with the response of needing a new clutch . We got there around 11:00am and they said leave it with us and we will do our best to get it done today . I was offered a courtesy car to get us around but was not needed . By 3:00 pm we had a call to tell us we were all ready to go and collect the car ! Wow ! Could not of asked for a better service . Honest reliable very friendly and most of all a great price . Definitely recommend

I needed a new clutch for my Suv.
A1 clutches were prompt polite and informative. The price was less than I had braced myself for.

I went to A1 Clutches in Derby after having an emergency late on a Friday afternoon. They were really helpful and looked at the car straight away. They supplied and fitted a clutch kit and CSC. It was done by Monday mid-morning with no fuss and they communicated with me along the way. They apologised for not getting it done Saturday but I thought they were super quick getting it done by Monday. I would highly recommend A1.

Great experience and service provides by Steve and his staff over the past few days. My car had broken down and it was taken to A1 Clutches to replace the clutch. I was notified that the gearbox was also not working properly and it would be advisable to get this fixed soon. Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)
The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready. I got changed clutch and flywheel of my Audi A3 from A1 clutches Tipton. I would recommend them to all. They are the best. They gave me same day appointment and changed clutch and flywheel in 4 hours. They provided me courtesy car as well. Simran gave me best customer service.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Staff were courteous , honest and polite at all times. I was sent a video detailing the works and quoted a very reasonable price. I have collected the vehicle and driven and it’s like driving a new car! If I could give more stars I would absolutely brilliant would recommend 100 percent to any customers with vehicle issues.

Toyota aygo semi automatic .. clutch replacement….
