Rang my local garage and A1 Clutches for quotes on replacing the clutch and DMF. A1 Clutches quoted £400 LESS than my local garage to do the work!

Booking the car in was easy, the staff very friendly and helpful. Premises was clean and tidy which suggests this level of care also translates to their mechanical work too.

Really quick. It took just over half a day to complete the full job and they gave me a ring as soon as it was available to pick up (usually I have to chase my local garage to find out if any work has finished). They advised on some other areas of the car that may need attention in future which is useful and also helped me figure the best route to get home!

Clutch feels great, and there is a warranty on the parts that was clearly explained to me by the team.

Will definitely use them again should I need to. Highly recommended.

Had some gearbox issues with a Vauxhall Combo van and as I have used A1 in the past I went straight back to them, and as always they gave me great value for money. They also repaired an ongoing issue I’d had with a noise on the steering, not their usual remit but they managed to solve the problem nonetheless. The communication between themselves and me was second to none which always makes a huge difference. Would definitely recommend to anyone, 10/10

Phoned up not really knowing what was happening with my car, offered to test drive the car for free to see what the issue could be, found out to be a simple fix of changing gear box oil which they did whilst we waited. All staff we spoke to were very friendly and made us feel like valued customers. All off it was carried out the same day that we phoned so really fast service

I went to A1 Clutches in Derby after having an emergency late on a Friday afternoon. They were really helpful and looked at the car straight away. They supplied and fitted a clutch kit and CSC. It was done by Monday mid-morning with no fuss and they communicated with me along the way. They apologised for not getting it done Saturday but I thought they were super quick getting it done by Monday. I would highly recommend A1.

Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)

The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready. The car drives like new and my worries are gone.What more can I say ? !!
