I contacted A1 Clutches with an issue with my VW Golf MK5 thinking the issue was with the clutch. They took their time to look it over and informed me it was actually the gearbox. They were very informative and useful. They always kept us up to date with the process of the car and were excellent with time management. I will 100% use their service again. I could not recommend them anymore!

Fantastic customer service, had a new dual mass fly wheel and new clutch fitted which isn’t cheap to replace, A1 clutches by far gave me the best price I could find after ring round many many garages. I did have to travel 35 miles for the fix, but the price was so good I couldn’t go, courtesy car was give which made traveling there so much easier. I’d be really surprised if you could get a better deal eles where . The chap that looked after me from start to finish was Tony, a total decent fella who made you feel at easy with the whole process which is what you want a need when having work carried out on your car . 10/10 from me

I recently had my Peugeot 3008 semi-automatic repaired here after experiencing serious issues with gear engagement and drivability. Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)

The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready. The car drives like new and my worries are gone.What more can I say ? !!
