Suffering Motor

Over the last week I had begun to intermittently hear strange noises from the car, seemed to be when the clutch was used. Took to a garage who said thay could find no problem. Was I going mad? Well a few days on and I now have a medley of noises as I drive along and lets say I feel as though the car is going to break down at any minute. The dealership couldn’t get me in for a couple of weeks!

Enter A1 Clutches who have saved the day. Took the car into the Tipton branch, within 15 minutes the mechanic had test driven the car and given a diagnosis, a thrust bearing had gone. They could have the car in instantly and would be done the same day: in fact I got a call just over four hours later to say the car was ready for collection. Amazing.I was offered a free courtesy car which really helped me out but best of all was the price £225 for a three piece repair kit and labour. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional and I will certainly recomend A1 Clutches and will use again.

Had my old car repaired by A1 Clutches before so I knew was going to get a really good job done, plus a great price. I called Steve at the Birmingham branch as my Ford Mondeo 20 tdci was making a right noise. He asked a few questions and diagnosed the problem straight away and told me he could do it today

Dropped car off at 10:00 and by 2:00 Steve called to say my car was done. When I got to A1 Clutches Steve greeted me and told me the dmf, clutch and other parts had been replaced and I was really happy with the price. The after sales service is really good and the guarantee for the parts. Car drives like brand new. Steve even told me about a few other problems like a slight oil leak and the starter motor. But the starter motor was due to the dmf failing and may clear itself over time. Would highly recommend to anyone

I was quoted £700 plus by Halfords, £540 by Mr clutch to fit a new 3 part clutch on my Renault Scenic 1.6, A1 Clutches fitted, 2 years warranty £195, they checked, gearbox fluid, topped it up, tightened the handbrake cables, and gave the car a full inspection

My wifes Peugeot 206 cc, needed a drive shaft, and centre exhaust, all done, car checked over for any other faults, £200. Mark (manager) and his team were extreemly polite, prompt, and accommodating
