My clutch went on a family trip from Sheffield to Cadbury World on Friday 20th March. Having no experience of garages in Birmingham we found this website. Early Saturday morning we had a quote and the car was picked up from the hotel at 8.30am. I was kept well informed during the day of the work which was needed and was called when the car was ready for pick up.

All in all Steve and this garage saved our weekend from what could have been a nightmare.
I would highly recommend them. Friendly fast and competitively priced.

I only ever leave reviews on eBAY or Amazon so this is a first for me to leave a review for a company, but I feel when your lucky enough to find a company that actually proves they can do there job then me & other potential customers like yourself should do the right thing and leave a good review.

We found A1 clutches by luck on the internet & arriving at 12.30pm on a Saturday had (DMF) Dual mass Flywheel fitted to our VW Golf Steve the manager of the branch is a top guy got our car ready by 3.30pm other garages had quoted 8 hours labour! so my advice to you is don’t bother going anywhere else especially your main dealer they will just rip you off. I will always use A1 Clutches Birmingham for our cars.

Whiny BMW gearbox- diagnosis was honest and fast: Find a used ‘box, A1 would fit it. They’re not worth repairing. So I did, and they did, plus new DMF and clutch. All done fast and well, and at short notice.
Would definitely recommend.

Clutch release bearing had started squealing so looked around at prices and reviews and booked into A1 in Derby. The day before the appointment the clutch decided to fail catastrophically! Called A1 who were very helpful with advice on how I could move the car off the road and advised me to have my breakdown recovery bring the car directly to them. Service was friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend them on service and price.

Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)

The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready. The car drives like new and my worries are gone.What more can I say ? !!
