I drive my Grandads old Rover 100 (Metro), which has great sentimental value to me having had it in the family for 21 years. When the clutch started slipping before the last MOT I feared the worst. I was quoted nearly £500 to get it fixed.

I completed the online quote for A1 Clutches, and got a message from the guys in Birmingham almost instantly. Having phoned back twice to make sure I had heard them right and the cost would be £185, I checked these reviews to make sure they were not too good to be true. Having seen the reviews, I went ahead with the work.

I took the car down slightly earlier than it was booked in for, the lads on the counter were brilliant. (I again confirmed the price) and left it with them.

I got a call when it was done, as they agreed, and the price was a penny cheaper than they quoted.

To say I am pleased is an understatement. I can not believe the difference it has made to the car, which was about to be scrapped in reality.

I do not normally write reviews, but the lads at A1 Clutches did me a top job at a great price. I would happily recommend them to friends and family

Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)

The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready. The car drives like new and my worries are gone.What more can I say ? !!
