Excellent prompt work at good price
For various reasons I had not attended to the failing clutch in my Mitsubishi Pajero. My wife drives this mainly in connection with her horse activities. She kept complaining and when I finally tried the vehicle, to my horror, the drive was nearly none existent. Being this bad I new the driven plate would be on the rivets and the flywheel face would be damaged.
I obtained a quote from A1 clutches stating that I thought the flywheel would need re-facing. The quote was extremely competitive and having read the reviews I was happy to let A1 do the work. I doubted if the vehicle would make it the 6 miles to Derby so I rang A1 for a recovery quote. Again I was very pleased with the quote.
I was very impressed with the friendliness and politeness I received with all my calls. The vehicle was recovered on a Friday and I received a phone call on the Monday morning to give me an update on proceedings. Everything was stripped and the flywheel was just going to be sent for re-facing. Depending on how quickly the flywheel came back would determine when the vehicle would be ready for collection. I received a call Monday afternoon to say that it was ready.
A fantastic turn round time. With the warranty and regular checks to be carried out by A1 at various mileages I thought the whole service was first class and very fairly priced.
I would have no hesitation in recommending A1 Clutches to anyone.

Great job done clutch and flywheel first then find out clutch master cylinder gone. Both times got my car there for 8.00pm and driving away by dinner time.
Brand new shock and spring. I dropped my car of at 5.00pm, the next morning by 10.00am it was done all brand new for a very good price I am happy with so I will recommend these people to everyone ???

I went to A1 Clutches in Derby after having an emergency late on a Friday afternoon. They were really helpful and looked at the car straight away. They supplied and fitted a clutch kit and CSC. It was done by Monday mid-morning with no fuss and they communicated with me along the way. They apologised for not getting it done Saturday but I thought they were super quick getting it done by Monday. I would highly recommend A1.

Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)
The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Staff were courteous , honest and polite at all times. I was sent a video detailing the works and quoted a very reasonable price. I have collected the vehicle and driven and it’s like driving a new car! If I could give more stars I would absolutely brilliant would recommend 100 percent to any customers with vehicle issues.
