I can not fault the service, my clutch was fitted quickly and I was kept up to date through out the process.
As a woman I was nervous about going to a different garage for my semi automatic car. Not helped by the fact that I was travelling around the West Midlands when the problems in my car escalated. I found the A1 receptionist professional and she took time to answer my questions, this was reassuring. I took my car in at about 4.30 pm on a Friday, was given a lift to the local train station at Tipton and by mid-afternoon the next day I had my car back in good working order.
I was a bit concerned about the cost of the work as the reception area is nice and clean! The cost of the work was reasonable for a big clutch job and it includes 4 follow up checks. Worth it.
These guys are fantastic would highly recommend it’s like driving new car. All done in one day absolutely brilliant.

Fantastic service and repair. The Manager Suki is very knowledgeable and helpful. I knew the best and worst case scenario before the repair was completed. I simply couldn’t ask for any more as I was even dropped off at work. When I returned 2 months later to have the 500 mile clutch check it simply showed the level of service received when Suki remembered my name.

I went to A1 Clutches in Derby after having an emergency late on a Friday afternoon. They were really helpful and looked at the car straight away. They supplied and fitted a clutch kit and CSC. It was done by Monday mid-morning with no fuss and they communicated with me along the way. They apologised for not getting it done Saturday but I thought they were super quick getting it done by Monday. I would highly recommend A1.
I recently had my Peugeot 3008 semi-automatic repaired here after experiencing serious issues with gear engagement and drivability. Great experience and service provides by Steve and his staff over the past few days. My car had broken down and it was taken to A1 Clutches to replace the clutch. I was notified that the gearbox was also not working properly and it would be advisable to get this fixed soon. Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)
The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready. The car drives like new and my worries are gone.What more can I say ? !!

I got changed clutch and flywheel of my Audi A3 from A1 clutches Tipton. I would recommend them to all. They are the best. They gave me same day appointment and changed clutch and flywheel in 4 hours. They provided me courtesy car as well. Simran gave me best customer service.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Staff were courteous , honest and polite at all times. I was sent a video detailing the works and quoted a very reasonable price. I have collected the vehicle and driven and it’s like driving a new car! If I could give more stars I would absolutely brilliant would recommend 100 percent to any customers with vehicle issues.

Toyota aygo semi automatic .. clutch replacement…. After having a quote from A1 Tipton.. £495 for full clutch kit .. it’s what I was expecting to pay .. but would it be done right … I’m very fussy and as a diy mechanic I like to do as much as I can so trusting someone one else was very frustrating.. and Toyota wanted an extortionate amount to replace the clutch.. so decided to go with A1 ..
