My Toyota Corolla Verso had a badly slipping clutch. I was doing an online search for a quote locally for getting the clutch replaced. Got the most competent quote from A1 clutches, Derby within 10 minutes.
Enquired on a Friday afternoon, booked in for Saturday morning, got the job done before 12:30pm. Highly impressed by the fast response, quality workmanship and prompt service. Offered 2y / 18000 mile warranty for the clutch and did the job within the quoted price.
My car is now driving like new, no more problem of too high biting point, lack of power and difficulty pulling away especially at traffic lights and gradients. Wonder how I was managing with the worn out clutch for 1 year since I bought the car, used.

I went to A1 Clutches in Derby after having an emergency late on a Friday afternoon. They were really helpful and looked at the car straight away. They supplied and fitted a clutch kit and CSC. It was done by Monday mid-morning with no fuss and they communicated with me along the way. They apologised for not getting it done Saturday but I thought they were super quick getting it done by Monday. I would highly recommend A1.
I recently had my Peugeot 3008 semi-automatic repaired here after experiencing serious issues with gear engagement and drivability. Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)
The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Staff were courteous , honest and polite at all times. I was sent a video detailing the works and quoted a very reasonable price. I have collected the vehicle and driven and it’s like driving a new car! If I could give more stars I would absolutely brilliant would recommend 100 percent to any customers with vehicle issues.
