Attended A1 Cannock with an issue with clutch operation on VW Polo 1:6 diesel. Mechanic was quickly dispatched to diagnose my problem. Vehicle was test driven and a diagnosis of dual mass flywheel failure given. Manager ‘Suki’ priced a replacement which of course I cross referenced with other similar businesses. A1 price was very competitive, subsequently booked in, dropped off at 8:00am car ready for collection at 2:00pm the same day.
Clutch feels like new and car drives as it should. Service was very courteous and polite throughout. I wold have no hesitation using or recommending A1 for future clutch repairs.

I went to A1 Clutches in Derby after having an emergency late on a Friday afternoon. They were really helpful and looked at the car straight away. They supplied and fitted a clutch kit and CSC. It was done by Monday mid-morning with no fuss and they communicated with me along the way. They apologised for not getting it done Saturday but I thought they were super quick getting it done by Monday. I would highly recommend A1.

Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)

The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready. The car drives like new and my worries are gone.What more can I say ? !!
