I had my clutch replaced in January at A1 Clutches – Birmingham and during the Corona Virus Lockdown my Toyota IQ developed a small oil leak. It had its M.O.T. test and it was advisory that the small oil leak was coming from the seal at the gearbox drive shaft on the off side. It would be a failure at the next M.O.T.
So I contacted Steve the manager at A1 – Birmingham who asked me to bring it in and he would have it looked at. Sure enough it had developed a leak and was probably during the replacement clutch. No quibble about it just shear professionalism in dealing with the problem.
It was booked in for the following day and ready for pick up at 1pm.
I cannot say enough about the fantastic service I received and especially the professional way in which Steve The manager dealt with the problem. I would recommend A1 Clutches – Birmingham to anyone. The after service is second to none.

One think I hate about using garages , yes mate drop it straight down – a day or two later you feel you got to call them & to your surprise they haven’t even started on your vehicle ? !!
A1 clutches get straight on it or at least be honest with you and say will start tomorrow and when Suki says he will call you and keep you updated – his a man of his word !!!!
2nd time using them for new fly wheel and clutch &and the service seems even better also they do servicing , well that’s my Ford Transit jumbo being looked after every service and my wife’s BMW 320d

I went to A1 Clutches in Derby after having an emergency late on a Friday afternoon. They were really helpful and looked at the car straight away. They supplied and fitted a clutch kit and CSC. It was done by Monday mid-morning with no fuss and they communicated with me along the way. They apologised for not getting it done Saturday but I thought they were super quick getting it done by Monday. I would highly recommend A1.

Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)
The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready. I got changed clutch and flywheel of my Audi A3 from A1 clutches Tipton. I would recommend them to all. They are the best. They gave me same day appointment and changed clutch and flywheel in 4 hours. They provided me courtesy car as well. Simran gave me best customer service.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Staff were courteous , honest and polite at all times. I was sent a video detailing the works and quoted a very reasonable price. I have collected the vehicle and driven and it’s like driving a new car! If I could give more stars I would absolutely brilliant would recommend 100 percent to any customers with vehicle issues.
