Two of our Mercedes Sprinter Vans have been into the Cannock Branch of A1 Clutches for gear box repair and new clutch and both times the service was excellent. Its very difficult having a van off the road but the turnaround is so quick we hardly missed them. Aftercare is also excellent. Would definitely recommend.

At around 11 am I discovered I was unable to engage the gears on Ford Ka, so I called out the RAC who diagnosed it was clutch failure. I contacted A1 Clutches Tipton who quoted me a very competitive price and due to my location which was none to far from the Centre said it would be done that very afternoon. The RAC towed me to A1 Clutches Tipton and as promised I collected my car at 4-45pm all done and dusted, well in time for me to get to work for my night shift.
This is the second clutch I have had fitted there (my Ka and Saxo I previously owned) and on both occasions I found the management and staff very friendly also very helpful, plus the price was right. I would unreservedly recommended them dear reader.

Our Aston Martin Vantage suffered a failed clutch while on hire. A1 Clutches were not my first call, but after a few conversations which ended in “an Aston – ohhh we can’t touch one of those… I finally got a positive answer from A1. The quote was very competetive at two hundred and eighty pounds (bear in mind AM would ask nearer to a thousand), so we booked on the basis of a 24hr turn around.

Rik was professional, courteous and proactive, even though we were calling almost every 2hrs to check progress. He even had the smarts to order a part which was required without bothering us because he knew the job was urgent. Those are the type of decisions people pay good money for!

The car was back together within 24hrs – ready to run. Very good experience.
