CAN’T THANK TONY & HIS TEAM ENOUGH

I cannot thank Tony and lads enough at the Derby branch! I’m was 150miles from home with work when my alternator decided it had enough. Rang 16 garages in the area and everyone was full, so I was thankful when I got the car in with A1. Dropped the car in and back within a few hours. Absolute lifesaver!! Thank you Tony and the team at A1 clutches Derby!

Had to have a new clutch fitted on my car, and decided to try A1 Clutches. Friendly people on the phone who gave an instant quote which seemed to be the cheapest in the area. When I dropped it off, all the staff were friendly and informative. There was clear communication throughout and I am thoroughly pleased with the outcome. Avril was extremely helpful at the desk when I collected the car, and provided an excellent service throughout. I will be using this place again, if I need any more work done to my car, and I will be recommending them to all my friends and family.

Steve saved me hundreds of pounds when I took a daughter’s car for a quote for a reconditioned gearbox/repair.  She had had a burned out clutch and a snapped gear change cable fitted elsewhere but the gear change was problematic and a gear selector inside the gearbox thought to be damaged as a result of the burn out.

I’d Googled lots of suppliers, but A1 got back smartly and suggested I brought it in that afternoon for a free check. Steve and the team quickly spotted that only the gear change cables needed adjusting, and some grease applied to part of the gearbox which shifts the gear lever left and right. He even marked the part with a felt tipped pen. He couldn’t do the job then, so suggested I took it back to the original garage. I did, they understood his directions, and quickly fixed the problem free of charge.

As Steve said, I should have gone to them first. You should, too.
