Excellent in a nutshell – Derby Branch. Rang up for a quote for a new clutch on my Peugeot 308 on Thursday and was surprised it was a good £200 plus less than anywhere else! I dropped the car off at 08.30am on Saturday and it was ready by 12.am so impressed the job was complete in 3.5 hours (other garages had suggested 6-8 hours for the job). I was phoned once the gearbox was out and on inspection another part of the transmission needed replacing as it was worn (only £40 so decided to opt for this). Car now drives very well, the clutch pedal is so light and gear changes are effortless. The clutch came with a two year (or 18,000 mile warranty) which is great. One minor drawback is the car has to be presented to check over the clutch at 300, 3000, 6000, and 12000 miles to uphold the warranty (but no need to book just turn up) so worth it for peace of mind. I was sceptical at the quality of the work due to the price but glad i gave this garage a chance

I went to A1 Clutches in Derby after having an emergency late on a Friday afternoon. They were really helpful and looked at the car straight away. They supplied and fitted a clutch kit and CSC. It was done by Monday mid-morning with no fuss and they communicated with me along the way. They apologised for not getting it done Saturday but I thought they were super quick getting it done by Monday. I would highly recommend A1.

Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)

The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready. The car drives like new and my worries are gone.What more can I say ? !!
