After weeks of issues and problems that could not be resolved by other garages I reached out to A1 Clutches. In only a few hours the problem had been identified and repaired. The service and customer care was absolutely ‘A1’. They provided me with a courtesy car so I was able to still get around while my car was been repaired. This was the second time I have had a clutch fitted at A1 Clutches in Derby.
Each time the work was completed surprisingly quickly and I have been very pleased with the new clutches, which greatly improved the performance of the cars involved.
The manager was very helpful and I would recommend A1 Clutches to anyone both on price and on rapid completion of the work.
My recommendation is for the A1 Clutch branch in Cannock. Very professional from start to finish, even giving my suspension a quick check over too. As I run a driving school I will recommend all my learner students to visit A1 Clutches if they have any vehicle concerns.

I went to A1 Clutches in Derby after having an emergency late on a Friday afternoon. They were really helpful and looked at the car straight away. They supplied and fitted a clutch kit and CSC. It was done by Monday mid-morning with no fuss and they communicated with me along the way. They apologised for not getting it done Saturday but I thought they were super quick getting it done by Monday. I would highly recommend A1.
I recently had my Peugeot 3008 semi-automatic repaired here after experiencing serious issues with gear engagement and drivability. Great experience and service provides by Steve and his staff over the past few days. My car had broken down and it was taken to A1 Clutches to replace the clutch. I was notified that the gearbox was also not working properly and it would be advisable to get this fixed soon. Very helpful and friendly. I have a 15 year old Picanto - it was getting tough to change gears at times - I thought it was the gearbox - took it in the A1 Clutches - they said probably needs a new clutch, gearbox has life in it still. With new clutch installed the car drives so much better. One very happy driver :)
The clutch was slipping on my Yaris so I decided it was best to get it fixed before I got stranded . I was recommended this company by JB Transport (Jacksdale) so booked it in and got a slot for 2 days later. The service was excellent and Tony the manager communicated very well.I arrived at 8 am and got a call at 1 pm from Tony saying the car was ready. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Staff were courteous , honest and polite at all times. I was sent a video detailing the works and quoted a very reasonable price. I have collected the vehicle and driven and it’s like driving a new car! If I could give more stars I would absolutely brilliant would recommend 100 percent to any customers with vehicle issues.
